Are you a student in early childhood education, pedagogy, or a similar field and want to work part-time alongside your studies? Are you interested in Montessori pedagogy and want to gain practical experience in a safe and family-like preschool environment? Then this might be the job for you.

Lidingö Montessori Preschool offers a warm and stimulating environment where the child's individual development is the focus. We work according to Maria Montessori's pedagogy and the Curriculum for Preschool (Lpfö18), placing great emphasis on safety, curiosity, and learning in everyday life.

About the position

The position is a substitute role, which means that work is on an as-needed basis. The job is suitable for you who are studying and want to work extra during the term.

As a childcare worker with us, you will:

• Be part of an engaged team that works based on Montessori pedagogy and Lpfö18.
• Support and guide the children in their daily learning and development.
• Create an inspiring and safe environment where children can explore and develop at their own pace.
• Collaborate with colleagues and guardians to promote the best interests of the children.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is studying early childhood education, preschool teacher training, or another relevant field.
• Wants to work part-time alongside their studies and is flexible when needed.
• Has an interest in or curiosity about Montessori pedagogy.
• Is responsible, attentive, and has a warm approach to children.
• Thrives in a small, family-like environment where collaboration is important.
• Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
